How is the graphics card? Can you play some old lightweight games like Hearthstone, GTA Vice City Remastered etc?

Yes, that integrated graphics is capable of playing older stuffs pretty good and you can even use FSR to improve frame rates. However, this specific model is a very thin & Light laptop with restricted Power envelop, just 28W to 30W at max, and during continuous load, it runs at even lower TDP. So, you won't get the maximum performance which can come from 780M in a bigger laptops with higher TDP and thermal solution.

What is the equivalent Intel processor for AMD Ryzen 7 8840U, not familiar with AMD processor? TIA.

Great deal, have the ryzen 5 version of this. Awesome for the portability as it's lighter than the macbook air. If you set the processor to 55% max when on battery in the power plan it can last a good amount and you won't feel it be slow at all under normal tasks such as web browsing or working with Microsoft documents using this power setting. Keyboard deck is magnesium alloy, it will feel like plastic but it's not, that's just how magnesium alloy feels

It was launched around the same time of the 13th Gen Intel and comparable Intel counterpart will be core i7 1355u which is far less powerful than 8840u, both in CPU and GPU performance.

Looks like they sacrificed battery life to make it lightweight. I wouldn't get R7 with a 43wh battery. 8840u efficiency is good, but not THAT good. Battery should be around 60wh. You will be stuck yo the wall with this laptop.

Exactly. I dont understand why manufacturers do this. In this 13in its somewhat understandable but there are some 13" laptops that have 50wh battery and if you get the same specs in a 15in laptop battery is still 50wh. Like what? Why?

I guess Pavilion was never meant to be "flagship".

Even with the renaming that HP is doing - I'd avoid OmniBook 3, and go for OmniBook 5 or 7 for a more "premium" offering that holds up better in a few years.

Does this have an extra m.2 slot to add another SSD? The RAM is fine but 512 GB storage is too little

You're going to have a hard time finding 13" notebooks that have 2 x m2 slots. Not saying they don't exist, but it isn't going to be the norm. It isn't difficult to reinstall windows on a fresh SSD, especially since you'll have a working machine that you can format the USB with before the upgrade.

Yea true, I wasn't expecting it to, was more of a hope. I really wanted to purchase the Zephryus G14 but after the last deal the prices have gone up everywhere
