Very hard to find $30/tool for Milwaukee.
Easy to find in kobalt or Skil.
I advise Skil 12v for diy home projects if you value weight and ergonomics. Or kobalt if you value high power.
I have the craftsman and kobalt and Skil (and M12 and DeWalt and makita and worx and Hercules and B&D). Yes I have a problem. I use the craftsman impact driver daily and I hate it. Way way way too long. But I keep using it because it's the last craftsman tool I have to die and I want to kill it.
Just get the Skil/kobalt deals.

Thanks! Appreciate your response.
But I can't deny that this is a good *deal*. You can just walk in and pick this up and you're done. you get the drill/impact that you'd get with any other kit deal, and also the circ saw and recipe saw as well, meaning you're basically complete in one deal. You might want to add a oscillating multi tool at some point depending on what you do.
With kobalt or Skil you'll have to deal hunt a bit. Their kit with the same tools (drill/impact/circ/recip) cost more, while their "individual deals" work out to have as cheap $/tool after accounting for the extra batteries you get from the deal.
For example Skil 12v has a $129 kit right now for drill/impact/multitool. But you'd still need to find the circ saw and recip saw separately. And I would actually recommend not getting the 12v version in those.
Kobalt has the $99 for 2 batteries charger and a pick your free tool. So you can get a kit deal first and then add whichever one you are missing via the free tool battery deal.
But in those scenarios you end up spending more than $129 to get the same set of tools but with more (maybe many more) batteries, which, you might want, or might need to sell on marketplace. And that's a hassle.
So it's really really attractive to just walk in and get this craftsman kit because it's so cheap and easy.
But knowing what I know, I'm also thinking about what kind of battery ecosystem you might want (or don't want) to be in for the long term future. There's nothing that interests me in the craftsman line. Everything is just "ok" which is fine if you are using it a couple times a month. But at minimum think about what *other* tools you might want that uses the same batteries. Including yard tools.
That's why I like the Skil 12v for DIYers and homeowners because their batteries are USBC for charging so you aren't "sucked into" their ecosystem. You just treat the batteries like a power bank for your phone. And they are light and smaller than 20v tools it's so much easier to use for the home owner.
If I was starting from scratch today as a homeowner I'd get the Skil 12v kit for (drill/impact/multitool) and then pick a separate battery platform with all the tools I'd want (including yard tools), and for me that's likely kobalt, so then I'd pick up kobalt recip and circ saw, for yard - weed Wacker, leaf blower, pruning chainsaw, lawnmower. That works out really well because you need lots of batteries from your construction tool deals to operate your yard tools anyway. And you definitely would appreciate the higher power saws than Skil 12v or even craftsman 20v.
But that assumes you have a yard LOL.
Honestly my main issue with craftsman is that awful impact driver form factor. Go play with it in the store. Compare it to the Skil 12v and you'll see.
search on Slickdeals for Skil and kobalt and you can compare the kind of deals you can get.
